Manu was a cover that happened with a lot of gusto but it didn't end up getting published. Sometimes, the designs that don't end up getting printed happen to be the best designs...just like it's said the process is more interesting than the end result.

One of my old covers coming from the time when i wouldn't post on my blog, waiting for the accurate time to come, when i would know that the book is out in the market and has been printed with equal care and enthusiasm and with the same efforts one took to design the cover.

The title jumps out with a stunning Gold Foil. The Spine too has been beautifully Gold Foiled, even though the book was paperback.

I fell in love with the photo, the mood, bold yet subtle, and found it to be so perfectly crisp for the book. Takes us back to the old times, when Black and White photos were the real colour in our lives :)

Attaching one the bestest illustrations in Water color of a White Tiger. The pastel yellow merges beautifully with the Forest Green and makes a wonderful artwork. Thanks to Kalyani for making this happen!

Thoroughly enjoyed working on "Songs of the Cauvery"

A concept inspired from the linocut art..the waves forming a beautiful frame around the title and author name.

Creme Brulee is a novel set in Kolkata. Quite love the colors of the illustration here. The idea was to get one figure in the foreground and one in the background. The pastry is actually embossed on the final cover and looks stunning. Thanks to Kavita Singh Kale for such beautiful work!
